BSNL Deactivate International Calls as Default for Prepaid Numbers

BSNL started  a very good change for their prepaid customers, that they deactivate International calling facility on all the BSNL Prepaid numbers in India. There were already happened many incidents that on some person mobile phones, there are coming miss calls from international numbers, which are basically fake calls, and whenever they reply, there lots of balance deducted.

So, here’s a very good effort by BSNL to protect their customer’s interest. But, I really don’t think this is also implemented by private telecom companies like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea and other companies, but yes, according to the TRAI rules, they should be viable to apply these rules.

This was happening with me and my friends sometime, even my friends lost 150 Rupees balance for a fake contest from international fake calls. So, guyz, I suggest you also that be aware about these type of fake calls.

Now, comes to the BSNL customers who actually uses international calls, how they can activate International calls on their BSNL Prepaid connections?

You have to send a message write ‘ACT ISD’ and send it to 53733. Or for deactivate Send ‘DEACT ISD’ to the same number 53733. For more queries, you can talk to BSNL customer care.
