If you are a BSNL prepaid or postpaid user and you subscribe for internet packs like 98 Rs. 2GB pack or 89 rs. postpaid 2GB Pack, then it is not a good news, because after 1st October, BSNL upgrade their internet tariffs like 2GB pack of 125 Rupees instead of 98 Rs. and in postpaid you have to 111 rs. for the same use.
What happen? if you recharge with same Amount
If you still recharge with 89 or 98 on your BSNL number, then you will get 1250 MB instead of 2GB, so it is better if you already recharge before 1st October 2012.
Now, almost every Indian telecom company like idea, airtel, Videocon, mts, docomo upgraded their GPRS 2G and 3G tariffs. So it would be better if you already have recharged in September. But the bsnl recharge of 10 GB in 270 rs is still there, which was replaced some months ago from 274 unlimited tariff plan.
Almost all the operators change their Special tariff plans(STV), So if you are a subscriber of any company confirm before taking recharge.
